Telecomie (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It applies to telecomie.com and to our online training courses.
We comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and, where applicable to visitors in the EU/UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect
Information you give us: name, email, phone (contact and quote forms); company name and project details; account details when you register for a course; billing information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card details).
Collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website, cookies.
Course activity: lessons completed, quiz attempts and scores, certificates issued, progress records.
3. Why we use your data
- Respond to enquiries and provide quotes — contract / legitimate interest
- Deliver courses you have enrolled in — contract
- Process payments and issue invoices — contract / legal obligation
- Issue certificates and track progress — contract
- Send marketing emails, only if you opt in — consent
- Meet tax, accounting and legal obligations — legal obligation
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share data with
Only with service providers who help us operate, and only as far as needed: hosting provider, payment processors, email service providers, and analytics providers. These providers process data on our instructions. Some may be located outside India; where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected. We may also disclose data where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiry data: up to 3 years from last contact
- Course accounts and completion records: while your account is active, plus 3 years
- Invoices and tax records: 8 years, as required by Indian tax law
- Marketing consent records: until withdrawn, plus 3 years
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act (and GDPR where it applies) you may access, correct, or erase your data, withdraw consent at any time, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local supervisory authority.

7. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in to your course account (essential), remember preferences (functional), and understand site usage (analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will prevent you staying logged in to courses.
8. Security
We use HTTPS encryption, a web application firewall, access controls, and regular malware scanning. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required.
9. Children
Our courses are intended for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change, and material changes will be notified on this page.
